The Let’s Go Shopping weekend will start on Friday 20^th March with drinks and canapés in the Music Room in the Palazzo. Guests are then free to enjoy a meal at the Borgo or in the local area. Our Concierge will be available to assist you with recommendations and bookings.

On Saturday 21^st March, shoppers will leave the Borgo after breakfast by 9.30am and head for Florence where your guide, Elena, will take you to all the best shopping places that this wonderful city has to offer.

You will have all morning to take a look around and then meet back to swap stories and see what everyone else has bought over lunch at a traditional Florentine restaurant, Cibreo.

During the afternoon, you will visit the Barberino del Mugello. Here you will have two hours to purchase the most fabulous designer clothing at discounted prices before returning back to the Borgo. This is a lovely outlet with lots of bars and restaurants inside.

Alternatively, if you would like to stay in Florence we can arrange tickets for you to the Uffizi museum.

On Saturday evening, why not join us for a chocolate and wine tasting experience in the Music Room? Or you are free again to either dine at the Borgo or in the local area.

On Sunday 22^nd March, shoppers will enjoy breakfast at the Borgo before heading off to the Mall. Here you will have 2 hours to shop at some of the world’s most prestigious designer shops and make savings of up to 50%. Complete the morning with lunch at the Mall’s Café.

After lunch we will then travel to the Fendi Outlet (for 45 minutes) and then on to the Dolce and Gabbana outlet (for one hour). We will then drive back to the Borgo for guests who are leaving that evening – hopefully with lots of bargains.

For those who are returning on Monday 23^rd March, breakfast is again available in the morning.

Tour details and prices

1.      This is a group tour using a private minibus with an English speaking guide.

2.      The prices quoted are per person based on two people sharing a studio or one bedroom suite/apartment and include:

• Accommodation in either a suite in the Palazzo or in a self catering apartment for either two or three nights
• The Friday drinks evening
• Breakfast on all mornings
• Minibus transportation to Florence and the Malls

3.      The prices quoted do not include:

• Flights and transfer to the Borgo
• Lunch or dinner
• Chocolate and wine tasting evening
• Optional gratuities

4.      Studio and one bedroom apartments and suites sleep two people. There is a 75% supplement for single occupants.

5.      Prices are also available for those who wish to visit the Borgo but not join in on the shopping experience.
