Simple Tuscan cuisine prepared to perfection is what will be found in the I Secoli restaurant of Borgo di Colleoli.

Built in the old vaulted cellars of the 15th century Palazzo, I Secoli offers a warm and hospitable welcome to all its guests. The cellars were once used to store wooden casks of olive oil both above and below ground.

Olive oil was produced from the ancient olive groves within the Borgo estate grounds which won many awards through out the years.

Today the wooden caps for the underground casks can still be seen. The menu provides a choice of superb a la carte food and a delightful selection of uncomplicated wines to compliment your meal in this intimate and romantic setting.

The Enoteca wine bar at the Borgo di Colleoli is built into the old wine cellar which was originally part of the farm on the estate. The estate itself covers 23 acres of ancient vine yards and olive groves and is nestled in the rolling hills and sun-drenched Tuscan countryside.

The Enoteca is decorated in a simple Italian style. Guests can peer into the tanks which years ago would have been used for the fermentation of wine. Tools once used for grape pressing are dotted around the wine bar as unique furnishings.

A relaxed form of eating and drinking can be enjoyed at Enoteca with a selection of salad starters, warm Tuscan meat and fish dishes plus sandwiches and truffle deserts.

The wine menu is extensive and includes a a fabulous choice of local and vintage Italian wines.

RISTORANTE PIZZERIA DA VITO (ORENTANO)
A relaxed and local pizzeria restaurant situated on the way towards Lucca, famous especially for one of the most wonderful and greatest pizza you can get in the surrounding area…..this is the reason why Vito is called ‘The King of Pizza’ (Il Re della Pizza).

IL MERLO (CASCIANA TERME)
Situated in the pretty spa village of Casciana Terme, this pizzeria restaurant is just in the middle of the promenade connecting the square with the main parking area to the centre. Being quite small and family run, you can breath an intimate and familiar atmosphere there and savour pizzas, antipasti toscani, pasta with different type of sauces, steaks, stewed and smoked meats and very good desserts. Pretty close to the restaurant “Il Merlo”, just in front of one of the most delicious ice-cream shops in the area, this restaurant Beni offers you a very comprehensive menu giving you a great selection of fish and pizza, and some choices based on meat as well. Service is very good, atmosphere involving and relaxing. Prices can be considered moderate-expensive.

ANTICA OSTERIA 'AL CASTELLO' (LARI)
Situated in Lari main square, just in front of the castle, this ‘osteria’ develops in three rooms in the inside, with pretty little cellar, and in a comfortable space outside available during summertime to enjoy wonderful views of the castle. The menu is based on meat and cheeses and offers 5-6 choices for the antipasti, first and main dishes. Wonderful desserts.. try the “crostatina ai frutti di bosco”…. Terrific! Moderate.
